About the cottage: If you are looking for a small, cozy place where you can take a breather, come to our cottage. But don’t look for anything designer, you are in nature. So nothing that comes from nature is alien to us here. Not even cobwebs. Although we try not to be, the residents of our terrace sometimes try harder than us :) And from evening to morning they weave beautiful webs for you – so, welcome to the wilderness! About me: If you are an enthusiastic athlete and like to spend your free time in nature, I will be happy to advise you on what, where and how :) I myself spend almost all my time in the mountains – on skis, on a rope, on a mountain bike, or in sneakers running through valleys. I love good coffee, so you will not miss coffee even in the cottage during your stay. My son and I are adrenaline junkies and love camping as much as sports. And of course, the menu includes an evening barbeque, which you can also experience here. We believe you will not regret it and will take away many memories from us. So if you want to get to know this great place, we will introduce you to it, because our roots are here and we have the real history and ancient life in Ždiar in our blood. So don’t be shy, don’t hesitate and feel free to ask us anything. We are happy to share all the gems and pieces of history with you. But you can certainly go here: – Ždiarsky dom – wooden church of St. Anne in Tatranská Javorina (don’t forget to arrange a tour here in advance) – Hohenlohe presidential castle – Belianske lúky educational trail with the largest preserved peatland in Slovakia – Monkova dolina (valley) – Javorová dolina (valley) and Zadné Meďodoly, which are the interface between the Belianske and High Tatras and accordingly, when you come to us, take your sports equipment, bicycles, skis, cross-country skis and definitely don’t forget your sled :)
