Young travel agency and outdoor agency Tatras Active Holidays specializing in stays, programs and activities related to sports (traditional and extreme), nature and mountains. It does not only cover its activities in Slovakia but is happy to help clients with the program in Europe and beyond. It’s here for individuals, families or small groups. At work, it follows the motto of Paul Coelho: “Impossible, is just one of the possibilities”, and therefore it tries to give each and every client what they want and were satisfied. The team includes UIMLA international mountain leaders, UIAGM international mountain guides, snow sports instructors and tourist guides. It offers: hiking with a mountain leader, Slovak and foreign ferratas, hiking with a mountain guide, cycling, history, extreme sports (climbing), nature with a camera, animal watching, outdoor courses.

Rafting Dunajec

The youngest team doing rafting on the Dunajec River. A variety of tourist attractions in the Pieniny National Park awaits every visitor. It is beyond doubt that one of these is adrenaline entertainment – floating the Dunajec river. Rafting Dunajec are a young team having a long-standing practice. Our offer includes canoe and raft rentals as well as rafting with instructor’s help. Meet our team of experienced instructors who are excited to be a part of your trip and to be your tourist guides, as well. Our instructors will tell you something about the tourist attractions in Červený Kláštor and closely describe the beauty of the Pieniny National Park. We suppose, you as foreign visitors, do not speak Slovak language and so in order to ensure your satisfaction, our professional interpreter is always available to provide you with all the necessary information.

Rafting Association – Združenie pltníkov

The biggest attraction in the nearby Pieniny (50 km) is rafting the river Dunajec. The rafting begins in the port behind the village of Majere in the direction of Červený kláštor. The length of the cruise is 11 km and together we will complete it in about 1 hour and 45 minutes. We will sail through the break of the Dunajec, underneath Tri Koruny … but what awaits you is to be seen with your own eyes. The cruise ends on the Slovak-Polish border below the village of Lesnica.

Farm Východná

Farm Východná is the highest located ecological farm in Liptov (930 m above sea level). They focus primarily on organic farming of cattle and sheep for milk production. Thanks to the exceptional quality of milk from the mountain area of the High Tatras, they offer exclusive cheese delicacies and delicious natural cheeses under the Farma Východná brand, which win leading awards at Slovak and Czech competitions. In addition to the production of milk and dairy products, medicinal herbs and small fruits are also grown there. You will find out how many stomach cows have, who is the strongest person on the farm, but also why cows have a hairdresser and pedicure on the farm, and why they live in a hotel. Get to know the process of raising cows and sheep on the farm in an experiential way, you will learn more about milk production and processing, you will taste the freshest cheeses before they go to the shops and you’ll meet farm animals live. The farm also offers tours. You can also experience a tour of the production of herbal teas here.
