Pension Caritas in Dolný Smokovec
Pension Caritas** is located in the picturesque surroundings of the High Tatras in Dolný Smokovec. Its history dates back to 1938, and during totality, it was the only house in Slovakia with a spiritual mission. The total capacity of the guesthouse is 56 people. Directly in front of the pension, there is free parking for visitors. What do we offer? – recreational stays – team buildings, trainings – for companies with up to 30 people – trips, outdoor schools, ski training – for schools – organizing gastronomic events – spiritual exercises and spiritual renewals ACCOMMODATION We provide accommodation in cozy and clean rooms with a wonderful view of the Tatra peaks, the surrounding Tatra nature and the city of Poprad. We offer rooms equipped with a sink with shared sanitary facilities and several rooms with private bathrooms and toilets. We have triple rooms with the option of an extra bed, double rooms and single rooms available for you. We also have two rooms available for families with children, with a bunk bed. A family of 6 with small children can also be accommodated in this room. The renovated rooms with their own toilet and bathroom are currently 2 single rooms and 1 single suite. Although our guesthouse is not equipped with an elevator, there are several rooms on the ground floor with a beautiful terrace where you will find yourself in the arms of nature. FOOD We provide meals through catering services. Therefore, we offer meals only to accommodate guests / as part of training / spiritual exercises and renewals / gastronomic events. Our staying guests can choose half-board or full-board meals. In the dining room, there is an electric kettle, a refrigerator, a microwave oven. to use TRAINING ROOM Opposite the dining room is a training room equipped with a TV, data projector and flip chart. The training room is suitable for groups of up to 30 people. DAYROOM Part of the guesthouse is a common room equipped with a TV, many games for children, a library, etc. We are happy to lend you balls for playing outdoors. CHAPEL An integral part of our guesthouse is a beautiful chapel with a capacity of 80 people. The chapel is open daily with Holy Mass every day at 8:30 am. for accommodated guests and guests from the surrounding area.
