In front of the entrance to the center of Starý Smokovec in the direction of Poprad, there is the Tourist Hostel * VPS Vysoké Tatry. The hostel has 15 rooms (double, triple, and quadruple). The maximum capacity is 45 people. Opposite the rooms are fully equipped kitchens. Free WIFI connection is possible in the hostel and satellite broadcasting is connected to the whole hostel. Parking is secured in front of the building in a fenced area, guarded 24 hours. The price includes free parking in all parking lots of the High Tatras (Smokovce, Tatranská Lomnica, Biela Voda, Tatranská Kotlina), 500 m from the accommodation is the railway station “Starý Smokovec”, from where you can visit the ski resorts by tram, 1000 m from the accommodation there is the possibility of downhill skiing in the resort “Jakubkova lúka”. 500 m from the accommodation is a cable car station that runs to Hrebienok (ski and tourist resort).
