A Walk from Štrbské pleso to Jamské pleso

Pleasant approximately 2.5-hour walk there and back, suitable for families with children. We start at Štrbské pleso railway station, from where we continue to the tarn by the blue trail. We pass along it on the left side, turn off at the red trail and continue along a pleasant forest path towards Jamské pleso. After 0,40 h we arrive at the junction Rázcestie pod Furkotskou dolinou. The trail then goes on in the direction of tarns Wahlenbergove plesá, saddleback Bystrá lávka or chalet Chata pod Soliskom. We keep on going straight forward for 0,30h more. Along the way, we see other turns. The first is the junction Rázcestie Odbočka na Biely Váh, from where we could go and see Rakytovské plieska. A few minutes before our destination, we see a turn to Kriváň. We can also sit in a wooden gazebo near the tarn. From Jamské pleso, the trail continues to Tri studničky and Podbanské.
