Mountain Hotel Popradské Pleso*

Mountain Hotel Popradské Pleso* (formerly known as Chata kapitána Morávku) is situated in the picturesque  Mengusovská dolina in Tatra National Park, on the bank of Popradské pleso, near Štrbské pleso at an altitude of  1494 m. Its equipment is rather like a mountain chalet. It provides accommodation for various clientele – from apartments for those seeking comfort to renting a place to sleep for undemanding tourists. The total capacity is 165 beds. In addition to accommodation is a restaurant, Slovak room, Finnish sauna, spa tub, reception with the sale and rental of climbing equipment, souvenir shop, exchange, storage, drying room, terrace, and billiard.

Skiing in this area is possible up until May for long-lasting good skiing conditions, especially for difficult and extreme skiing as well as alpine skiing. Cross-country skiing is also available in the winter months. Popradské pleso is a popular destination for cyclists and a starting point for mountain bikers. In addition to the popup menu in the vicinity of the possibility of using a wide variety of other services such as horse sleigh rides, hang-gliding and hang parachutes, bathing, caves, and so on.
